Brandis Duby
Brandis Duby has been dancing since she was three years old and studied with The Grande Prairie Dancer's Academy for most of that time. She trained in many styles, but focused mainly on Ballet, Jazz, and Lyrical. She developed a love for contemporary when introduced to it by MOD, with her style highly influenced by her Ballet background. She has performed several times in the local Nutcracker in many roles, but most notably in the soloist position of Arabian Coffee. She has also danced at many charity events in the Grande Prairie community. In 2008 Brandis received The Caihla Anderson Memorial Award for The Love of Dance, a scholarship to extend her Ballet training. She is currently in her fourth year at the University of Alberta in the Bachelor of Science program with a Specialization in Psychology and plans to obtain a Master’s in Speech Pathology. She enjoyed getting the opportunity to choreograph for MOD last year and is now very excited to hold the position of Internal Communications on the board!
